Privacy Policy
QuickStop AI · Last updated 12 October 2026
This policy explains what the app collects, why, and who else sees it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
What we collect
| Data | Why | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | Identifies your account. Never shown to other players. | Google Sign-In |
| Display name, username, profile picture | Shown to other players in games you join. | You / Google Sign-In |
| Age and gender | Optional. You can leave both blank and play normally. | You |
| Answers you type during a round | Scored, then shown to the other players in that game. | You |
| Game history and scores | Leaderboards and your lifetime stats. | Gameplay |
| Advertising ID and basic device information | Only when ads are shown: lets Google AdMob show and measure ads. You can reset or delete this ID in your phone's settings. | Your device, via Google AdMob |
We do not collect your contacts, location, photos or browsing activity. There is no analytics SDK in the app.
Ads
QuickStop AI may show ads from Google AdMob: a banner on the home and results screens, and occasionally a full screen ad after a game has ended. Ads never appear during a round. Google AdMob may use your device's advertising ID, IP address and how you interact with ads to show and measure them. Ad content is limited to a general audience rating. You can opt out of personalised ads in your phone's settings (Google → Ads), and players in the EEA and UK are asked for consent first. How Google uses data for ads.
Who else sees your data
| Service | What it receives | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Everything above | Hosts the database and handles sign-in |
| Google (Sign-In) | Your sign-in request | Authenticates you |
| Google AdMob | Advertising ID, device and ad interaction data, only when ads are shown | Shows and measures ads |
| Google Gemini | The words you type as answers, with the category and letter | Decides whether an answer is valid |
Being specific about the answer checking: when a round ends, the distinct answers from that round are sent to Google's Gemini API to be judged valid or invalid. Your name, username, email and player ID are not sent — only the words themselves, the category, and the letter. Answers already judged before are served from our own cache and are not sent again.
We do not sell your data. Apart from what Google AdMob collects itself to show ads, as described above, we do not share it with advertisers. Your answers, name, email and game data are never given to AdMob.
Who can see you in the app
Other players in a game you join can see your display name, username, profile picture, your answers once the round is scored, and your score. Your email address and age are never shown to other players.
While a round is still running, nobody can see your answers — not even the host. They become visible only after the round is scored.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your profile and game history are kept while your account exists. Delete your account from Profile → Delete account, or email us, and everything tied to you is removed: profile, answers, scores and game history. Deletion is permanent and takes effect within 30 days.
Validated words are kept without any link to the player who typed them. Once the app knows that "Islamabad" is a valid Place starting with I, that fact is stored on its own and carries no connection to you.
Children
This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Database access is restricted by row-level security, so one player cannot read another player's unsubmitted answers or private profile fields. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
