Privacy Policy — Brainic

Brainic (“we”, “our”, “the app”) is developed by SB Studios. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and your choices. By using Brainic you agree to this policy.

Playing as a Guest

You can use Brainic without signing in. As a guest:

We create an anonymous account (a random ID, no name or email) so you can play online via room codes.
Your local game progress (games played, streak, best scores) is stored only on your device.

Signing in with Google

If you choose to sign in with Google, we collect and store:

Name and email address from your Google account
Your profile photo (from Google, or one you upload yourself) and a chosen avatar color
A user ID and a shareable friend code

This is used to create your profile, friends list, leaderboard rank, match history, and to sync your progress across devices. Signing in is optional.

Data we store

When signed in, the following is stored in our backend (Supabase — Postgres database, Authentication, Storage, and Realtime):

Profile: name, avatar/photo, gender (optional), friend code, XP, coins, level, and per-game stats
Friends: your friends list and friend requests
Online play: live match state, room codes, and online/offline presence
Match history: results of completed online matches (for head-to-head stats with friends)
Leaderboard: your name, level, XP and wins

If you upload a custom profile photo, the app requests camera/photo-library access to let you pick or take that image; the photo is uploaded to our Supabase Storage and used only as your avatar.

Advertising

Brainic shows banner ads via Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) to support free play. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), general device information, and approximate location to show and measure ads, and may use this data for its own purposes as described in Google’s policies. You can review and reset your device’s ad settings in your device’s system settings. We do not sell your personal data ourselves.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand app usage — which screens and games are used, and basic session/device information. This data is aggregated and not used to personally identify you beyond what Google Analytics itself collects.

Push notifications

If you sign in and allow notifications, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver alerts (e.g. “it’s your turn”). This requires a device push token, which is tied to your account so we know where to send it. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

How we use your data

To provide app functionality (games, online multiplayer, friends, leaderboard, match history)
For account management (your profile and progress)
To show and measure ads, and to understand app usage (see above)

We do not sell your personal data.

Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account and data at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account, or by contacting us at team.sb.studioz@gmail.com. Guest data lives only on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app or reset game data in Settings.

Children’s privacy

Brainic is a general-audience games app and is not directed at children under

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date above will change accordingly.
